Create and Perform Your Own Choreographic Works
Each year the school hosts "The Children's Dance Festival".  Every child is eligable to participate.  Here is an opportunity for all of the children to perform in small groups, duos and as soloists.  Older students present their own choreographies in all dance forms.  The object of this event is to give children many chances to perform, create, have fun and receive recognition for their efforts. It also serves as an important tool in teaching young dancers good sportsmanship and comradry.  It helps to unite the Senior, Junior and toddler dance members of the school and promote positive role modeling amongst the group.

All dancers are given the opportunity to learn and perform as soloists, not just a chosen few...and at the fraction of the cost than regularly offered at most schools.

Younger and Senior dancers are awarded with a report of constructive criticism and encouragement given by an Adjudicator (Professional Dance Teacher).  Younger Dancers also receive goody bags and ribbons; Senior Dancers are judged and awarded placement Ribbons and Medals.

It is a fun and educational day of dance where all dancers get the chance to dance and encourage their fellow dancers in performance and creativity.

All students must enter a Set Dance Category to be eligable to perform in the Year End Concert.
